“Man, sometimes it takes you a long time to sound like yourself.” ― Miles Davis
Miles knew what he was talking about. For almost two decades, I've been bringing strong, funny and vulnerable characters to life. Along the way, I've continued to hone my craft through study of scene analysis, movement, long and short form improv and solo show writing. With every year that passes, I find myself more and more my own artist. I seek challenging work and recognize that resistance and discomfort can sometimes be a part of that. Real growth often comes from what is difficult. And more often than not, inhabiting another life is a incredible journey filled with joy and discovery. Its a complex, rich and exhilarating exploration of the human condition that I hope to continue for many years to come!
Bronx born but New Jersey raised, I graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Art History and Theatre Arts. I live in Queens, NY with my sweet husband, Juan Carlos. We live to serve at the pleasure of our adorable Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix, his highness, Prince Teddy. Thanks for checking out my site and I hope you enjoy this glimpse into my work and life!
